Liverpool Confirm Ozan Kabak Loan Deal From Schalke
Liverpool have signed centre back Ozan Kabak on loan from Schalke until the end of the season, as the Premier League side look to end their problems at the back.
Jurgen Klopp's side have struggled with injuries this season, with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez likely to be out until the end of the season, and the manager has been desperate to add more strength in depth at the back.
Joel Matip's injury made things more pressing for the defending Premier League champions and Klopp went about making moves this weekend.
On Sunday it was rumoured Ben Davies would be joining from Preston North End, and both centre-back reinforcements were secured on Monday evening.
The Reds will pay a loan fee for the defender for the remainder of the season and have an option to sign him at the end of the season for around £18 million, initially.

The formalities were completed in Germany, with the player poised to travel to Liverpool next week. He is to wear the No.19 shirt for the Reds.
The 20-year-old Turkish centre back moved to the Bundesliga from Galatasaray in January 2019, initially for VFB Stuttgart, before moving to Schalke just six months later.
He has played for Christian Gross' side for the past 18 months and become a regular in the first team, making 42 appearances for the team.
The Gelsenkirchen side have had an absolutely awful year and nearly equalled the record of most games without a win in the Bundesliga earlier this season, when they'd gone 30 games without collecting all three points.
Gross' team are very bottom of the table, with just eight points from 19 games.
