The rest of the Premier League might have been looking up with envy as Manchester City won the league on Sunday afternoon but at least there's some good news for Liverpool and Spurs.
Manchester City have been relentlessly brilliant this season. Results and performances have both been brilliant with only the briefest of hiccups in the week and a half building up to their inevitable title win when Manchester United lost to West Brom.
They may be out of all other competitions and had their one biggest bit of silverware all sewn up but there's plenty left for Manchester City to do this season with Premier League records to be had.

And Pep Guardiola can start for planning for next season to heap further misery on his rivals by somehow improving his frustratingly good side. Is there any good news for the chasing pack?
Well two of City's chasers in chief in the shape of Liverpool and spurs are getting a bit of a kickback from the Citizens Premier League win. As per the Times, Liverpool will make £1 million from the sale of Raheem Sterling and Spurs will make £1.5 million from Kyle Walker.
Sterling moved to City three years ago before Pep Guardiola moved to the Etihad Stadium but part of the deal included a £1 million add on if the winger won the Premier League during his time there.

Walker only joined Guardiola's revolution in the summer for a similar fee to Sterling and his move also included a performance bonus for winning the league. Leroy Sane's move also had the clause meaning Schalke will make £432,000.
Of course in the current transfer market Liverpool and Spurs will be able to sign one fiftieth of a decently priced player.
Both sides still have some big targets to play for this season. Their involvement in the Champions League next term is all but guaranteed but they're both still in a cup competition each.

Spurs face Manchester United in an FA Cup semi final on Saturday whilst Liverpool face Roma in their Champions League semi final next week.
Fans of both sides will be really happy to see their former players doing really well...right?
