Leicester City's summer business on the whole can be viewed as fairly successful.
The Foxes got £35 million out of Chelsea for Danny Drinkwater, kept Riyad Mahrez, strengthened their backline with the £17 million capture of Harry Maguire, added a guaranteed goalscorer to the ranks in Kelechi Iheanacho for £25 million, as well as signing Sevilla skipper Vicente Iborra in a £10.8 million deal.
However, there's a great danger that one of the club's summer deals won't actually go through.
That's because the deadline day capture of Sporting CP captain Adrien Silva, which saw Leicester ask for a two-hour extension to complete the deal after the deadline on 31 August passed, is very much up in the air after FIFA rejected the documentation sent over.
Apparently FIFA have rejected Adrien Silva's late move to Leicester City.

The £22 million move, which was confirmed by Sporting and Leicester, is a huge statement of intent from the East Midlands club, who see Silva, a Portugal international and Euro 2016 winner as the ideal man to fill the void left by Drinkwater in the middle of the park.

But as it stands, the deal may well end up collapsing - with Leicester new desperately trying to resolve the issue.

A Leicester City spokesman said:
"We are working with Adrien and Sporting Clube de Portugal to overcome some issues relating to the player's registration and exploring all options to find a resolution."
The rejection from FIFA has even led to some reports that Silva may well have to wait until January to take to the field for Leicester, which would bring about a right mess for both the player and club.

French-born Silva, who has played for Portugal on 20 occasions, came through the ranks at Sporting and went on to make 136 league appearances, scoring 32 times, in a six-year spell in the first-team.
