Andrea Pirlo is among our favourite footballers at SPORTbible. As well as the beautiful passing and fantastic free kicks their the style, the beard and everything else. So the second coming of Pirlo definitely excites us, even if this time it's his son.

Pirlo was always a fine footballer during his time at AC Milan and for Italy, having had his footballing education at Brescia and following a brief unsuccessful spell with Inter, but his career got even better during its latter years.

Check out our video on Pirlo's best quotes:

He left Milan for Juventus in 2011, aged 31, with Milan believing that having past his 30th birthday he was also past his best. He then went on to be even better and win four Serie A titles with the Old Lady, also reaching two Champions League finals.

Pirlo has now retired but we're about to see the new Pirlo. His 15 year old son Niccolo is set to have trials with the Serie A champions in the next few weeks, that's according to reports in Italy from Il Bianconero.

Speaking about his son the 38 year old who perfected dead ball situations in his career said, "Play football and would like to become a footballer, but I tell him that he must first study. He looks a lot like me, he's technical and not very aggressive."

Pirlo junior is currently playing for non league side Pecetto and has been watched by the Old Lady playing for them recently with his dad watching on along with Juve's director of sport Fabio Paratici. He is set to have his trial in the next few weeks.

After that he could sign to play for Fidanzata d'Italia's under-16 squad.

It seems we are now on the road to having the second coming of Pirlo, watch this space!
