La Liga Star Is Heading To Juventus Or Manchester City

It appears Manchester City will take advantage of the transfer window reopening in January to land cover for the injury-stricken Ilkay Gundogan in the shape of a former Premier League midfielder.

But to finalise any deal they'll have to fend off competition from Juventus as the two clubs battle it out for Steven N'Zonzi.

Sevilla have already conceded losing their influential midfielder following a string of impressive performances churned out in the La Liga.

The Frenchman's dazzling outings in the middle of the park has helped guide his side to third in the league just one point behind Barcelona.

Not only are they firmly in the title race, but they've also mounted a great challenge to ultimately get a Champions League spot next season, though they'll be without the services of N'Zonzi.

After six-seasons in England with both Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City froom 2009-15, N'Zonzi sealed a move to Sevilla and has since garnered plenty of attention.

With Juve or City set to trigger his £25.6 million release clause. Is N'Zonzi heading back to England or will the Italian giants pip Pep to the signing?
