Kylian Mbappe Banned From Monaco Training As Transfer Rumours Intensify

Kylian Mbappe's time as most loved footballer who didn't play for your club is set to last a shorter time than most transfer sagas with the youngster on his way to PSG and having been banned from Monaco training.

When he fully burst onto the scene in the Champions League last 16 destroying Manchester City's defence and helping Monaco to win Ligue 1 ahead of PSG, thus beating possibly the two biggest examples of oil rich clubs that people love to hate, Mbappe became the people's champion.

At such a young age playing in such an exciting team and winning everything. We all knew that the teenager would move to one of the big clubs, we just hoped he'd stick around in the French principality for a while.

When a move to Real Madrid was mooted you could hardly blame the kid. But a move to PSG, to play in the same average league he was already mastering, that would be unforgivable.

But that's what looks like will happen and according to L'Equipe today it's not all going amicably with Mbappe having been banned from training since last Tuesday after an 'altercation' with teammate Andrea Raggi.

According to the French newspaper the young forward actually refused to leave the field after the 'altercation' so the rest of the team had to go and play on another pitch, how very professional of everyone involved.

The news will surely hasten his move to the French capital where he will be teamed up with Neymar and Edinson Cavani in a front three arguably as good as any in the world.

Having spent £198 million on Neymar it looks like Unai Emery's side will pay another £165 million to get the 18 year old to move and sign a five year contract, who says that Financial Fair Play is dead?

At one point it was thought that Real were favourites to sign the player but apparently the lure of guaranteed first team football has swayed him to move within Ligue 1. No one would pay £165 million to put a player on the bench though surely.
