Cristiano Ronaldo's never ending transfer saga has taken a new twist with Juventus the latest team linked with him and the Serie A champions have started talks with Real Madrid already.

It is nine years since Cristiano Ronaldo moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid and pretty much every summer since then he's been linked with a move, usually back to Old Trafford.

Last summer after a tax fraud claim by the Spanish courts the five time Ballon d'Or winner said that he never wanted to play in Spain again and then went on to have a season where he won a third Champions League in a row with Real, mission not accomplished then.

However after that third final, the win against Liverpool, Ronaldo decided to try and steal the spotlight off Gareth Bale by once again stating that he was considering leaving the Bernabeu.

The chances seem very slim considering that his release clause is €1 billion and there's no guarantee that Real would accept less for the 33 year old.

However according to Marca Juventus are lining up a move for Ronaldo and have already begun talks with Real likely to accept less than the release clause.

The Spanish newspaper say that the Old Lady are ready to offer the €30 million a season until 2022 that would be required to match his wage demands and talks with the club have started.

Los Blancos came to an agreement with the player back in January that he could leave for less than his transfer release clause and he reportedly has it in writing.

One stumbling block for Juve in the past would have been their relationship with super agent Jorge Mendes but the man who represents Ronaldo recently helped João Cancelo move to Valencia.

In the past Ronaldo has seemed most likely to move back to United or to PSG but the former's purchase of Alexis Sanchez in January and the latter's issues with FFP seem to have scupperedthose chances.

Juve don't exactly need help to win Serie A, having won the last seven, but they're desperate to get their hands on the Champions League, especially having lost two recent finals.

Could Ronaldo be heading for Turin?
