Italian champions Juventus appear to be lining up some big moves, with Tuttosport reporting that the Bianconeri are eyeing up a January move for Chelsea winger Pedro.

The Spain international left Barcelona for Chelsea after an 11-year association with the club came to an end in 2015, signing a four-year deal for an initial £19 million and slotting into Jose Mourinho's side.

He scored eight goals in an underwhelming campaign for all those connected with Chelsea in 2015/16, and was one of the club's top performers last season under the tutelage of Antonio Conte, notching 13 times as Chelsea lifted the Premier League title.

And despite the belief being that Pedro, who has made three appearances so far this term, is happy at Stamford Bridge, Juventus are keen on the 30-year old, and are looking to take a key player from their old boss Conte.

Juventus aren't short of brilliant options going forward, but the potential signing of Pedro would add another dimension to the Old Lady attack - with the World Cup winner capable of playing to a high level in multiple forward roles.

One would expect Chelsea to hold firm given what Pedro brings to Chelsea and the fact that don't really have anyone in their ranks who could fill the void if he was to leave.

As for Juve, they seem to be showing plenty of intent in the transfer market as they look to continue to improve their squad.

The Bianconeri signed 12 players, including the likes of Blaise Matuidi, Douglas Costa, Federico Bernardeschi and Mattia De Sciglio, in a summer overhaul but are already planning ahead with transfer plans for next summer, with Tuttosport saying that Max Allegri and his team are eyeing up an impressive trio of moves for Emre Can, Andres Iniesta and Leon Goretzka, who are all out of contract in the summer.

Liverpool midfielder Can, 23 has been in fine form for the Reds of late and Juventus have long been linked with the former Bayer Leverkusen man. As it stands, he is yet to sign a new deal at Liverpool and the talk is that Juve will get in touch with his representatives in January to offer a pre-contract, with Can free to speak to non-English clubs in the new year.

In addition to Can, Juventus are also been linked with a move for Barcelona and Spain midfielder Andres Iniesta, who is also stalling on a new contract at Barcelona. The 33-year old, who joined the Blaugrana as a youngster, has made 632 appearances in a 21-year, trophy-laden spell at the club, but that could well be coming to an end, with Iniesta believed to more open to a move away from Catalonia than he ever has been.

And finally, having snapped up one of Schalke's key players on deadline day after securing the signature of World Cup winner Benedikt Howedes, Juventus are also hopeful of landing his compatriot Leon Goretzka, who starred for Germany at the Confederations Cup.

The 22-year old, whose contract expires next summer, has been subject to intense transfer speculation linking him to Bayern Munich, but Juventus are hoping to swoop in and bring the talented midfielder to Turin.
