Like the end of a rom-com film when you don't think about the dickhead character who lost the girl to the hero we've almost completely forgotten about the impact on Juventus of the loss of Paul Pogba. But the Old Lady might have found a new love.

In fairness to Juve they'd already signed Miralem Pjanic from Roma at the beginning of the summer so it's not exactly like they are without a class midfielder but when you've got £89 million burning a hole in your pocket you might as well sign another one.

After losing Pogba back to Manchester United there was a gap to fill for Max Allegri and according to transfer wizard Di Marzio he's headed to Mino Raiola, Pogba's agent to sort a deal.

According to reports by Di Marzio the Serie A champions have offered 22 million Euros plus an extra five million for Blaise Matuidi.

The French midfielder, who was part of the national side who made it to the final of the Euros in the summer, had been seen as an alternative to Pogba if United hadn't managed to sign their former player back to Old Trafford.

PSG would apparently be willing to sell the player for 30 million Euros and the player is open to a move, with just over a week to go of the transfer window all parties will be hoping the deal can be done soon.
