Following the sale of Leonard Bonucci to Serie A rivals AC Milan, Juventus have eyed up plenty of options to fill his void and it appears the club are close to agreeing a deal for his replacement.

From Bayern Munich's Mats Hummels to Borussia Dortmund's Sokratis Papastathopoulos. Though it seems Juventus will target Sokratis' international teammate.

Per reports in Italy, Juventus have reportedly an agreement in principle for AS Roma's Kostas Manolas. Football Italia suggest the Greek defender has agreed to join the Italian champions.

Despite the player agreeing to join Juventus, the two clubs need to strike a deal before the transfer can be signed, sealed and delivered.

Juventus are prepared to offer €30 million for Manolas who is attracting plenty of interest from around Europe. He was set to join Zenit St Petersburg earlier in the window until the deal collapsed in the final stages.

As well as the Russian outfit, Chelsea and Arsenal, among others, have kept tabs on the 26-year-old. But 'The Old Lady' are now the clear favourites to land his services ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Antonio Conte eyed him up as he seeks to bolster his defence ahead of defending the Premier League title while mounting a challenge for the Champions League.

The Italian manager ultimately drafted in his teammate Antonio Rudiger for a believed £34 million, while Arsenal remain in the market for a defender.

Max Allegri has already splashed the cash on Bayern Munich's Douglas Costa, Fiorentina's Federico Bernardeschi, AC Milan's Mattia De Sciglio not to mention Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny.

While they are on the verge of sealing a deal for Manolas, the club are also after Liverpool's Emre Can and Chelsea's Nemanja Matic as they continue to pursue a midfielder.
