Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a move for Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The United boss drafted in Nemanja Matic, who he worked with at Chelsea, for £35 million in the summer, and he has been excellent in the middle of the park, providing the perfect protection for United's backline as well as giving the attacking players the platform to strut their stuff.
However, according to Diario Gol in Spain,Mourinho remains a huge admirer of Real's Casemiro and is keen on landing him in January to further boost his midfield options.

Having been a bit-part player under Rafa Benitez, Casemiro has emerged as one of the very best defensive midfielders under the tutelage of Zinedine Zidane, playing an integral role in back-to-back Champions League final success and last season's La Liga title win.

He scored in last season's 4-1 drubbing of Juventus and Cardiff and netted the opener in the 2-1 UEFA Super Cup win over United in Skopje.
This season, he's made 13 appearances in all competitions and is believed to be perfectly happy in the Spanish capital, where he gives the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos the licence to orchestrate attacks.

The Brazilian is expected to follow in the footsteps of the bulk of Real's big guns by putting pen to paper on a new and improved contract, but is attracting interest from top European clubs.
Not only are United keen, Paris Saint-Germain are said to have already launched a move for the 25-year old, who would link up with compatriots Neymar, Dani Alves and Marquinhos if he ended up moving to the Ligue One leaders.
