Who do you consider Premier League title contenders for the upcoming season? Chelsea, Manchester City, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United would be most people's choices but Jose Mourinho reckons Javier Hernandez could influence the title race.

The big two became the big four then the big four changed a bit and now the Premier League is all about the big six. At this point it seems unlikely that anyone will break up that party, even if it is only just a year after Leicester City won the league.

Such is the way that the Premier League works that United are felt as more likely to make up the 24 points on Chelsea that split them last season than Everton are to make up the eight points between them and United.

Despite the Toffees having an excellent transfer window it would still take some upheaval for Ronald Koeman's side to finish inside the top six ahead of one of those teams, never mind the top four.

So the 'Special One' must really think that West Ham are having a good transfer window. Talking about deals his own team are doing the Portuguese manager praised certain side's for their business and he's definitely impressed with the Hammers signing Javier Hernandez:

"We need a bit more when you see the other teams in the Premier League, like Man City, Liverpool and West Ham, the way they get players, good players, important players.

"The champions have bought three fantastic experienced players. I am thinking about West Ham for the first match of the Premier League.

"They have got Joe Hart, Chicharito and [Marko] Arnautovic. It looks like they are playing to win the Premier League, too. The teams are fantastic in the market. I am waiting for a bit more."

Slaven Billic's side finished in 11th place last season and their summer transfer dealings are so far very decent although you can't help but think that Mourinho isn't telling the truth when he says they could be title contenders.

Of course there's always something extra to what the United manager is saying and at the moment he's definitely pushing for his own club to complete some more deals.
