Jose Mourinho doesn't exactly have the best reputation when it comes to signing young players or playing the ones he already has for that matter. However the 'Special One' is tracking a young Championship player.

In the summer Jose Mourinho spent slightly more than a whopping £150 million on new players after taking the role of Manchester United manager.

That figure actually wasn't too bad in the end when you consider they spent £89 million just on Paul Pogba whilst Zlatan Ibrahimovic was a massive bargain on a free transfer.

However despite the investment and the recent upturn in form the transfer deals for Mourinho are far from over as he tries to build the team into his own.

According to The Mirror United will use the transfer window to make a seven figure move for young Nottingham Forest striker Ben Brereton.

The 17 year old striker played for the club's under 23's yesterday and bagged himself a brace against Chesterfield. On New Year's Eve the player signed a new contract:

The club's owner Fawaz Al Hasawi is also considering offers for Henri Lansbury and Matty Cash whilst youngster Oliver Burke left in the summer.

Will United get their hands on the youngster?
