After being deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola in the summer, he ruthlessly axed Joe Hart subsequently offloading him to the Serie A with Torino.
And while his future remains the topic of discussion, it appears a return to the Premier League could well be on the cards.
According to reports, Liverpool are set to table an offer for the Manchester City player to make him their main man between the sticks.
Hart is currently on loan with the other Turin-based club and is churning out impressive outings despite getting off to a shaky start.

But the deal comes to an end in the summer as Hart favours a permanent switch back to England, as well as a club who can offer him Champions League football.
Jurgen Klopp's men are in prime position to qualify into the Champions League while also being on the hunt for a new No.1.
The German gaffer has Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius at his disposal, yet the pair have been prone to the odd mistake, something which Klopp wants to sure up next season.

It's believed Hart's parent club are open to offers but are reluctant to sell him to a direct rival though the move could be forced.
Liverpool aren't the only team vying for his signature. It's reported that West Ham are also interested in snapping up the keeper.
