Francesco Totti And Edin Dzeko Joke About Bosnian's Move To Chelsea

The former Manchester City striker is yet another name of Chelsea's list of wanted strikers.

Never has a possible transfer made more sense than Edin Dzeko moving to Chelsea. Not because of the move itself but because of the other possibilities. Whilst we're all laughing about those Dzeko was able to share a chuckle with Francesco Totti over his possible move.

We all knew Chelsea wanted another striker, after all they spent all summer trying to sign Fernando Llorente, but we didn't know quite how desperate they were for a backup to Alvaro Morata until this month.

First of all the Blues were linked with a move for Andy Carroll. The West Ham striker has only played 700 minutes of Premier League football this season and managed to bag just two goals in that time.

Check out our video on transfer flops:

At nearly 37 Peter Crouch has managed more minutes and one more goal but that didn't mean the idea of him move to Stamford Bridge wasn't even more ludicrous than the Carroll move.

Finally Roma's Edin Dzeko has come about as the third potential striker and that move seems to make a hell of a lot of sense! The Roma striker destroyed Chelsea's defence earlier this season in the Champions League.

Whether that moves happens or not is still questionable but he was able to joke about it today with Francesco Totti as the capital side boarded a train for Milan:

Roma sporting director Monchi, the man who made Sevilla such a force in recent times before his move to Serie A, gave a press conference about possible sales, with full back Emerson Palmieri, also linked with a move away, on Saturday, saying:

"We found ourselves forced to create some clarity here. For too many days, Roma have been described in the papers as a club being dismantled. I even read we are selling players without their knowledge.

"It is a description that is very far away from the reality of the situation. We cannot be blamed for having many strong players in the squad who are of interest to many top clubs."

Sky Italia has reported that Chelsea will pay €50 million plus €10 million in add ons for the pair of Roma players although any move will be delayed until they play Inter Milan in Serie A on Sunday night.
