Theo Walcott has four Premier League clubs keen on taking him in January when the transfer window opens in a matter of hours.

Like he was in the summer, the Arsenal No.14 has been heavily linked with a move away having been on the fringes of the first-team this season.

Walcott hasn't made a single Premier League start this season and has been used as a substitute on four occasions. His only starts have come in the Europa League and Carabao Cup, and it would be in his best interests to leave the Gunners for regular football.

John Cross from The Mirror reports that Arsene Wenger may be willing to let the man he signed as a teenager in 2006 leave, with Walcott needing requiring regular football to have any chance whatsoever of making the England World Cup squad.

Former club Southampton have expressed a strong interest in bringing him back to St Mary's and feel he can add that extra ingredient to their attack.

Everton were heavily linked with a move for the 28-year old in the summer but nothing ever materialised. Their interest remains though, and they are believed to be monitoring his situation.

West Ham and Watford are also both keen however it is noted that Wenger might be a little sceptical about letting Walcott leave mid-season because, following Olivier Giroud's injury, it might leave them a little light up top.

A loan move might be best for all parties, with Wenger well aware about Walcott's desire for first-team football.

You get the feeling Walcott will be subject to a whole host of stories surrounding his future over the next month so it will definitely be worth keeping tabs on him.
