Hertha Berlin striker Salomon Kalou has joked he would love to arrange for Yaya Toure to join him in the Bundesliga, after the midfielder returned with a bang for Manchester City.
Toure was left on the sidelines for the majority of the season, after Pep Guardiola had a very public falling out with the player and his agent.
However, with Toure apologising to Guardiola, the Ivory Coast star was free to make a return to the City squad against Crystal Palace last week.

The 33-year-old of course hit the ground running with a brace against Alan Pardew's side, and Kalou is now desperate to link up with his old friend.
Speaking to Goal, the ex-Chelsea forward described Toure as a "genius".
"Every club would love to have him, he is a great player, of course."

"A player like Yaya Toure will find a club whenever he needs to, I wouldn't worry about that. If we had the money to get him, I'd say come to Hertha, I'd love to arrange that."
Kalou added that while Toure is getting older, he has a footballing brain that allows him to move around the pitch without wasting his energy.
"He is a player with a brain and sometimes people don't understand that you don't need to take hundreds of steps per game when you can give one pass and win the game.
You can run 300 kilometres and not touch one ball, but he knows how to move around the pitch and do things other people can't do. He is a genius."

We can't imagine too many City fans will be happy with Kalou's strategy here...
