Everton reportedly turned down an incredible £85 million offer for forward Richarlison from Barcelona, according to reports.
La Liga champions Barca are without striker Luis Suarez because of injury and have been trying to replace the Uruguayan in the January transfer window, with an offer for Valencia's Rodrigo reported.
Now Sky Sports have claimed that they had an £85 million offer for Brazilian forward Richarlison turned down, with Everton wanting to 'strengthen their squad' and not sell a 'prized asset.'
Richarlison moved to England in August 2017 when he signed for Watford and came with a big reputation from Brazil. He hit the ground running with five goals in the first few months of the season but his form took a dip in the latter part of the season.

He moved to the Toffees the following summer to be reunited with Marco Silva, who'd bought him at Watford, for a fee of £50 million.
The 22-year-old scored 13 goals last season for the Goodison Park side and has continued his form this campaign scoring eight in the league already and continues to be one of Carlo Ancelotti's most important players.
Football fans on social media haven't been able to believe that Everton turned down so much money for the forward:
Suarez had to go for knee surgery earlier this month and is expected to be out for most of the rest of the season, leaving the Catalan giants short upfront as they chase silverware.

The 32-year-old had scored 11 goals in La Liga so far this season and has already proved to be a loss to Barca, as they lost 2-0 to Valencia last weekend despite dominating possession and having more shots.
Are Everton mad for turning down the money?
