Is Mario Balotelli finally heading for the Anfield exit?

The Italian has endured a miserable time at Liverpool, and has been deemed surplus to requirements as Jurgen Klopp is eager to offload him.

The club may be in luck after reports surfaced that Ajax are prepared to offer him a lifeline, according to Di Marzio.

The 25-year-old striker has been relegated to the Liverpool reserves as the full-squad gear up for the new campaign with a pre-season tour of the States.

There were rumours speculating a move to Turkey with Besiktas but the club denied the claims with an elaborate statement while he failed to impress AC Milan as they snubbed the chance to re-sign him, yet it appears the Dutch side are in contact with his pesky agent Mino Raiola.

Ajax remain hopeful that he'll take a pay-cut in order for him to join them.

Raiola is not just dealing with the ongoing saga of Paul Pogba, but also of Balotelli. Busy times ahead.
