Chelsea have submitted a whopping £57 million bid for Romelu Lukaku, and it may be preemptive strike as Diego Costa's departure appears to grow stronger.
Atletico Madrid are set to follow up their interest in Costa by lining up a bid, as they're confident they'll be able to lure him back to Spain following the sale of the striker back in 2014, according to The Sun.
The La Liga side, like Chelsea, have already splashed big money on a striker after completing the signing of Kevin Gameiro.
The Spanish giants are plotting a £40 million offer and could be finalised in the next few days, while it's reported that the Premier League side are frustrated with their style of approach accusing them of 'tapping' him up.

Costa, who still has three years left to run on his current contract, experienced a brilliant debut season guiding 'The Blues' to Premier League triumph while bagging 20 goals.
Though failed to reach those standards last season as Chelsea faltered, netting just the 12 league goals.
His future has been subject to intense speculation but could be cleared up very soon.
