Andy Carroll has been linked with a January move to Celtic - but the club's supporters are simply refusing to believe there's any truth in the West Ham striker moving north of the border.
The England international has struggled with injuries for most of his career and this season has been no different, with the 29-year-old confined to just four Premier League appearances so far this season - all of which have come from the subs bench.
With the Hoops known to be on the lookout for several strikers when the transfer window reopens in 10 days time, the Sunday Post have claimed the Premiership champions are running the rule over the former Liverpool and Newcastle striker.
However, given current Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was in charge at Anfield when Carroll was shown the door, and the fact he's probably on a weekly wage well outwith a Scottish team's budget, there's not many fans willing to buy into the rumours:
Brendan didn't fancy him at Liverpool so what's changed. Bony was at Swansea, if my dodgy memory serves me, with Brendan and possibly was best spell of career. #justsaying- larry bird (@larrybirdboston) December 23, 2018
The same Andy Carroll who Rodgers got rid of at Liverpool cos he doesn't fit in with the way BR likes football to be played. Aye, nae bother.- john m whalen :four_leaf_clover: (@gcfcjohn) December 23, 2018

BIG 50/50 GAMBLE!:four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover:
Undoubtedly a brilliant player when on-form, could Andy Carroll really end up at Celtic?
What do you think?
