Club Eye Surprise Move For On Loan Joe Hart

Hart has lost his place in David Moyes' side and might want to leave with the World Cup looming.

Joe Hart's career is taking a rather unfortunate trajectory at the moment and he could do with a lift. Now another Premier League club are hoping to take him from West Ham, where he is on loan.

For so long Hart was Manchester City's number one, often with very little competition, and he had even less competition to being England's number one, there wasn't a true challenger in sight.

Then the former Shrewsbury goalie had a pretty disastrous time at Euro 2016 for his national team. He could have done better for Gareth Bale's free kick and both the goals that sent England out against Iceland.

Pep Guardiola arrived at City that same summer and decided he didn't want Hart who had little choice than to go to Torino on loan but things didn't go well in Italy either.

He was sent on loan to West Ham this season but has only played once, in the Carabao Cup, since November losing his place to Adrian.

Clearly the Spaniard is David Moyes preferred choice right now and that's bad news for Hart's chances of being number on at the World Cup. However there could be hope, the Mirror are reporting that Rafa Benitez is interested in taking the keeper up to Newcastle this month.

For the transfer to happen both Manchester City and West Ham would have to agree it with the Hammers needing to allow him to return to his parent club first.

The east London side paid a loan fee for the player and are paying £120k-a-week for the player, with City subsidising the rest of his £175k-a-week wages.

With the 30 year old only sitting on the bench it seems like a lot of wage that Moyes could spend elsewhere as he continues the battle to keep the Hammers out of the relegation zone.

The Magpies are in the middle of a takeover but Mike Ashley will be determined not to see them head towards relegation otherwise any deal could be off.

That means Benitez is likely to be handed funds to sign players in January. The paper also report that the London Stadium club have their eye on Jonjo Shelvey, something that could help Hart's move.

Could Newcastle save Hart's spot as England's number one for Russia?
