Club Considering Bid For Unwanted Manchester City Player Samir Nasri

After a season on loan Samir Nasri has returned to Manchester City but Pep Guardiola is desperate to sell him as soon as he can.

Has there been a footballer who has wasted talent by coming across as being lazy on the pitch as Samir Nasri? The Manchester City midfielder clearly doesn't suit Pep Guardiola's philosophy and now there's a club from abroad interested in signing the player.

Literally no one can doubt Samir Nasri's ability. On his day there are few who can touch him for class and skill, it's just that his days don't seem to come anywhere near often enough.

One of the problem's for Nasri is he isn't really a player who runs around a lot so when he's not on it he comes across as being extremely lazy. So it's no wonder the closing down stylings of Pep Guardiola were never going to be good for the Frenchman.

Instead he was sent to Sevilla on loan where his time will mostly be remembered for being sent off in the Champions League against Leicester and a bizarre incident with Drip Doctors.

The former Arsenal man is now back at the Etihad but City want rid and according to reports last week are willing to accept 14 million euros for him. And according to French newspaper Foot Mercato that has alerted Shanghai Shenhua.

Yes, it's a story about a Chinese club wanting an attacking player from a club in Europe. I don't think I've written one of these since the season's finished you know. Welcome back old friend.

As we all know by now the Chinese Super League is flushed with cash so the clubs have been spending it like it's going out of style. Like the Premier League without the history.

The reports in his home country say that City are hoping to offload the 29 year old, and the other loanees from last season, in time for their tour to America in July and hope bring in their new recruits by then too.

Nasri will need persuading to go to the Far East but he'll be offered a lot more money for moving there than Marseille, the other club being linked.

Will Nasri end up in China?
