Jack Wilshere has been subject to intense transfer speculation as he continues to be linked with a move away from Arsenal, and it appears a club is now in talks with the midfielder.

The 25-year-old has 12 months left to run on his contract with the player deemed surplus to requirement by Arsene Wenger. Reports in Italy suggested that Sampdoria had tabled a £6 million offer.

Though another European club have offered him a route out of Arsenal. Antalyaspor have confirmed that they are in talks to sign Wilshere but the asking price is proving to be a stumbling block.

"We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere," Ali Safak Ozturksky said about the deal via Sky Sports.

"It will be a difficult move to pull off," he added.

Wilshere was shipped off loan at the start of last season with Bournemouth picking up his services. He spent the Premier League campaign on loan with 'The Cherries' playing 27 league games.

Yet he only provided two assist and failed to make a significant impression. Despite his form, he's been attracting plenty of interest from Premier League clubs with West Ham, Newcastle and Swansea also eyeing him up.

Wilshere is currently nursing his broken leg he suffered at the end of last season with Arsenal opting him out of their traveling pre-season party to Australia and Asia.
