Following a string of big-money moves to China, it appeared another Chelsea player was set to leave for the Far East movement but John Obi Mikel was snubbed those offers.

Hallelujah!

Teams from the Chinese Super League are going to extreme lengths to lure some of the best talents from Europe to ply their trade in Asia.

By offering them a shitload of money, though their advances weren't enough for Mikel.

Per Own Goal Nigeria, the Nigerian midfielder is set for a move to the La Liga with Valencia and is expected to pen a four-year contract.

Such deal was always on the cards after being deemed surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte, alerting plenty of clubs from around Europe and China, while his contract expires in the summer.

He was attracting plenty of interest with the likes of Marseille, AC Milan and Inter Milan all keen on acquiring his services. But it appears the 29-year-old has ultimately opted for Spain.

Valencia sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch has already held talks with the player as he's set to leave The Blues this month.
