Chelsea will have a clear out this summer to balance the signings of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and two more potential new additions to the squad.

The Blues' surprised everyone earlier this week with reports that RB Leipzig forward Werner had agreed a move to Stamford Bridge, with the Germany striker having previously been strongly linked with Liverpool.

With the 24-year-old is likely to cost £53 million, which is his release clause, adding to the £35.6 million spent on Ziyech, Frank Lampard is set to oversee a clearance in his squad with seven players likely to leave.

According to the Mirror, Pedro, Willian, Jorginho, Marcos Alonso, Kurt Zouma, Ross Barkley and Michy Batshuayi will all leave Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Ziyech's arrival, and the potential signing of Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga, who has been linked with a return to west London, means Lampard has no reason to keep Pedro and Willian.

Both players' contracts will expire in the summer and the Spaniard has been linked with a move to Roma. Willian had been offered a new deal but the two parties couldn't come to an agreement on the length of the contract and he is also likely to leave.

Maurizio Sarri once again wants to work with Jorginho, who he managed at Napoli and Chelsea, and the Italian reportedly wants to sign him for Juventus this summer.

Alonso has only started nine times in the league this season and left back has probably been Lampard's most problematic position in his first season as the Blues' manager.

Reports claim that the club's all time top scorer is hoping to add Ben Chilwell to his side in the summer, although Leicester City want similar money to what Manchester United paid for Harry Maguire.

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is allegedly interested in bringing Zouma to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he overhauls the Spurs' defence this summer.

Ross Barkley is yet another player whose former manager is interested in, with West Ham's David Moyes wanting to reunite with the midfielder he brought through at Everton.

With Werner joining Chelsea, and Olivier Giroud having signed a new deal until the end of next season, Batshuayi becomes the fourth choice striker at the Bridge, also behind Tammy Abraham, and there's interest from Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and West Ham for the Belgian.

Lampard's side is likely to have a very different look to it next season but where do you think his team with Werner, Ziyech and potentially Chilwell finish? Let us know in th comments.
