Chelsea fans have voted to say that they'd prefer Alvaro Morata play upfront than Gonzalo Higuain, just three months after the Spain striker moved to Atletico Madrid on a loan move.
Since Roman Abramovich bought Chelsea the club has been a hotbed of transfer activity, spending a lot of money on some of the best players in the world. However time and again the money spent on strikers hasn't worked out.
In just his second season as owner Abramovich bought Didier Drogba from Marseille and it's fair to say that the purchase was one of the best in Premier League history, considering what the Ivorian ended up winning with the Blues.
But ever since Drogba the clubs history of signing strikers hasn't exactly been glittering with Hernan Crespo, Andriy Shevchenko, Fernando Torres, Mateja Kezman, Pato, Radamel Falcao and Adrian Mutu all failing to some degree to live up to price tag, reputation or just failing a drugs test.

Diego Costa was the only striker who came close and even that ended in tragedy when Antonio Conte decided he didn't want the Spain striker and he moved back to Atletico Madrid.
The latest striker to leave Stamford Bridge after a poor time in West London was Alvaro Morata. The former Real Madrid forward scored just five goals in 16 league games at the beginning of the season and then went on loan in January to Atleti, following Costa.
In a poll by football.london the fans have voted that they'd prefer to have him back than keep Gonzalo Higuain:
When Morata left in the winter Chelsea were left needing a striker an Maurizio Sarri decided to go after Higuain who was on loan at AC Milan from Juventus at the time.

The Blues paid to loan the Argentina forward till the end of the season with a 12 month extension and summer transfer both possibilities on the move.
However the former Napoli striker has bagged just three goals in eight league games, with just one in his last eight in all competitions.
With the English side currently under a two window transfer ban there's a chance that they won't be able to bring any new strikers in the summer.

Morata will be in Madrid till next summer but they could still sign Higuain up for next season. Olivier Giroud has hinted he could be tempted to leave the club but highly rated young striker Tammy Abraham will return from his loan at Aston Villa.
Who will be leading the line for Chelsea next season?
