The Burnley faithfuls may be frustrated with the lack of transfer activity but the club are on the verge of completing quite the signing.

So far Sean Dyche has snapped up Jimmy Dunne, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Nick Pope and Jon Flanagan while they're close to finalising a deal for Steven Defour

The midfielder is in Manchester undergoing a medical in view of a club-record £7 million deal from Anderlecht.

It's believed the 28-year-old has attracted interest from other Premier League clubs, including a rejected bid from Everton back in 2011.

Defour has an impressive CV. Get excited Burnley fans. Not only does he boast Champions League appearances, he also has a wealth of experience from the international arena having compiled 46 caps for the 'Red Devil's'.

Not to mention the two league titles he's won in both his native-Belgium with Anderlecht and Porto.

The Clarets are scheduled for another Premier League home again as they host Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in the Jon Flanagan derby.
