BREAKING: Aston Villa Complete £15 Million Deal

Transfer deadline day is upon us, folks! Managers up and down the country are hoping to tie up the last few pieces of business before tonight's cut-off point.

And a player who was attracting plenty of interest is finally on the move. Brentford striker Scott Hogan was subject to strong interest from Premier League sides including West Ham and Boro.

But the 24-year-old is set to remain in the Championship following his club agreeing a deal with Aston Villa.

Villa have agreed a staggering £15 million deal as the player heads to Birmingham to undergo his medical.

The Championship side spent a combined reported £23 million on Ross McCormack and Jonathan Kodjia in the summer as they continue to splash the cash in England's second tier.

As a result of the sale, league one side Rochdale will receive a £3 million windfall.
