The Chinese Super League continues to pick up steam - Chongqing Lifan have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund over the transfer of Adrian Ramos.

The attacking midfielder is set to follow in the footsteps of a host of top names who have swapped Europe for the Far East.

Ramos has reportedly secured a 12 million euro transfer to sign with the CSL side. But before he heads to China, he'll ply his trade in Spain.

The 30-year-old is set to link up with La Liga outfit Granada, who are under the same ownership, on loan before heading to China in the summer, per ESPN FC.

Though the move comes as no real surprise. Ramos was hellbent on moving away from the Bundesliga club after handing in a transfer request not once but twice last year.

And they've now obliged by doing so as confirmed by the clubs media director Sascha Fligge; "We have reached an agreement in principle."

The completion of the deal is expected to be finalised over the coming days.

Meanwhile the story from ESPN FC also indicates that the Colombians former side Hertha Berlin will pocket 15% of the transfer fee as a result of a shrewd clause in his contract.

Another player switches to China. Who is next to join the Far East revolution?
