Bayern Munich are gearing up for their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid tomorrow night, but their boss is also preparing for transfers once the window reopens in the summer.

The German giants have been linked with a Spurs player already ahead of the window with reports heavily linking them with a move for Dele Alli. Well, the midfield sensation is garnering plenty of interest.

Alli has been in scintillating form alerting Europe's finest. From Real Madrid to Manchester United. Though the 21-year-old will command a whopping fee should any side tempt to prise him away from White Hart Lane.

We're talking about a figure that could potentially rival Gareth Bale's astronomical £85 million, or even more.

Alli being linked with a bunch of sides is no surprise. Though Bayern's transfer target is a rather surprising one.

According to reports from RMC Sports, the Bavarians are lining up an offer to sign Paulinho. The 28-year-old is currently plying his trade in the money rich Chinese Super League.

Spurs snapped up the Brazilian from Corinthians in 2013 for a reported £17 million. He enjoyed a respectable debut season, yet failed to produce in the following campaign which prompted his sale to Guangzhou Evergrande.

He's helped his side bag six trophies, including the coveted Asian Champions League in 2015 since linking up with them.

Though it's his performances for his national side which has notified clubs around Europe. Paulinho bagged a stunning hat-trick (!!) against Uruguay in a recent World Cup qualifier including an absolute worldie.

Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly keen on Paulinho's ability to play in several positions within the middle of the park. He operate both defensively and offensively.

With Xabi Alonso calling it a day at the end of the season, the veteran Italian gaffer is looking to bolster his midfield options ahead of the new season. But Bayern have already dipped into the market by drafting in Sebastian Rudy from Hoffenheim.

Could Paulinho be in line to return to Europe?
