Bayern Munich usually just raid their Bundesliga rivals if they feel the need to strengthen their team. So it's nice to see that they're broadening their horizons to raid the Premier League instead.

Bayern are currently top of league in Germany, as they usually are, and sit two points ahead of Red Bull Leipzig. However nevertheless Carlo Ancelotti is looking at breaking the club's record transfer fee.

According to The Sun, the Italian has sent scouts to the Premier League to watch Everton's Romelu Lukaku and they've been impressed with the Belgian, especially in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

The report suggests that Bayern are willing to splash out £65 million on the former Chelsea front man.

Incredibly the most the Munich side have spent previously is for defender Javi Martinez for £34 million with Arturo Vidal and Mario Gotze the next most expensive signings.

23 year old Lukaku has often been linked with a move to a bigger club since moving from Stamford Bridge to Goodison Park including a return to West London.

This season the Belgian has been in exellent form grabbing six goals in just seven Premier League games.

It's no wonder he's being linked with a big money move.
