The transfer window is closed in England now so there's no players to come in until January but teams can still sell their players to clubs around Europe. Could that mean Paul Pogba leaves Manchester United?!

Paul Pogba gave Manchester United fans something to be excited and hopeful for at the World Cup. The France midfielder was one of the best players throughout the tournament in Russia and helped his country win the World Cup.

His leadership both on and off the pitch was another development that probably wasn't seen enough at Old Trafford last season and finally United fans hoped that their best midfielder would show what he was capable.

If they did have that hope then they forgot that their manager is a party pooper of the highest order, as Jose Mourinho decided to tell Pogba it was his fault he didn't play as well for United saying, "I don't think it's about us getting the best out of him It's about him giving the best he has to give."

That annoyed Pogba enough that, reportedly, the former Juventus midfielder decided he wanted out of United and wanted to move back to Turin or to Barcelona. United weren't interested in selling despite a rumoured bid from the Catalans.

However according to a report in Spain that isn't putting Barca off. Mundo Deportivo say that Ernesto Valverde's side are willing to wait till the end of their transfer window, on August 31st, to make the move happen.

This is the problem for English clubs choosing to close their window early. United must now spend the rest of the month fighting off the La Liga champions as they can't replace Pogba should he leave.

The 25 year old on the other hand will remain desperate to leave United for the second time and will wait for a transfer offer from Barcelona but he does want to go, according to the reports at least.

Pogba has a deal at Old Trafford till 2021 so they can afford to keep him and not have to worry about not being able to sell him next season, if the deal was right for them.

Barca's initial offer included Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, both of whom have now gone to Everton, showing how poor their first bid was.

Will United keep hold of Pogba?
