Barcelona and Arsenal are set to enter a transfer tug-of-war.
Despite Barcelona shelling out £97 million and Arsenal breaking their transfer record in the summer, both clubs remain hellbent on reinforcing their side ahead of the second half of the season.
And it appears the pair of clubs are eyeing up an AC Milan player who only arrived at the iconic San Siro in the summer.

The Rossoneri's heavily reinforced during the transfer window. The one of many new players they signed was Porto's Andre Silva. But despite penning a five-year contract a few months ago, he could be departing Italy.
The fallen European giants have become reliant on Chinese investors while racking up huge debts. Silva could be made available to ease the financial problems.

And per reports via Bleacher Report, Barcelona and Arsenal are keeping tabs on Silva with the Catalans reportedly plotting a January bid.
Sporting director Robert Fernandez is believed to have scouted the 21-year-old during Portugal duty. But they face stiff competition from Arsenal who are also monitoring his situation.

The report suggests that Arsenal have identified Silva as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez who's set to be a free agent at the end of the season.
Sanchez has entered the final year of his contract, with Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans resigned to losing his services. Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain remain linked with the Chilean.
