Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Hints He Could Replace Star Player At European Club

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains subject to intense transfer speculation, and he's continued to talk up a move away from Borussia Dortmund by suggesting he could replace a star player.

The lethal Gabon marksman was heavily linked with a switch in the summer window.

Chelsea, AC Milan, Real Madrid and, recently, even Everton (!!) have been muted to acquire his services.

And he's denied reports claiming he's penned a new Dortmund contract ahead of the transfer window reopening in January.

He still thinks a transfer could potentially be manufactured, next month.

"In the winter market a lot can happen, also for me," he said.

Aubameyang is still in the forefront of the market following the prolific season he's enjoying in the Bundesliga.

The 28-year-old has already weighed in with 21 goals from 23 games, in all competitions.

And he's interestingly commented on Antoine Griezmann's Atletico Madrid situation. The French ace, just like Aubameyang, is constantly doing the rounds in the transfer rumour mills.

Aubameyang added: "Everyone knows that Atletico is looking for players who can replace Griezmann. If, finally, he leaves in the coming weeks, anything can happen.
