Arsenal Officials Spotted In Dortmund To Finalise Aubameyang Deal

It looks like it'll be done very soon.

Whilst Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alexis Sanchez wave at each other as Mkhitaryan heads south and Sanchez heads north some of Arsenal's representatives have taken a trip to Germany to sort out their other transfer this window.

Mkhitaryan celebrated his 29th birthday today with his Manchester United colleagues helpfully clubbing together to buy him a one way train ticket to London Euston, fortunately they remembered to book him on first class.

Sanchez on the other hand was getting on a private jet for his move, which admittedly makes the waving quite difficult. The Chilean showed himself boarding the aircraft on his Instagram story on Sunday.

Check out our favourite Piers Morgan tweets about Arsene Wenger:

Whilst that transfer is all signed, sealed and delivered, with just medicals and work permits to sort out, the Gunners are still chasing their move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

According to reports the Bundesliga club are still holding out for 60 million euros for the player who was dropped from their squad for Friday's game against Hertha Berlin. The two clubs are still someway apart on valuation.

That's probably why chief executive Ivan Gazidis and new chief scout Sven Mislintat, who used to work for Dortmund, were spotted in Germany today:

According to reports Arsenal have already agreed a contract with the player that will see him earn €10 million until 2021 with the north London club.

Having sold Theo Walcott already this transfer window Arsene Wenger is on the verge of a big revolution of his attacking options.
