Not only did Arsenal fail to hold onto their lead against Manchester City over the weekend, but they also lost out (again) on the signing of Julian Draxler. Though Arsene Wenger has already identified a new transfer target in the shape of another German ace.

The Wolfsburg midfielder has been linked with a move to the North London outfit for ages now yet he made the strongest indication possible over a potential transfer.

Draxler revealed that he wants to join French side Paris Saint-Germain after telling keeper Kevin Trapp that he wants a move to the French capital.

And while Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez continue to stall over a new deal, Arsenal are eyeing up Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus if the pair refuse to extend their stay, per Telegraph.

(Aubameyang and Reus continue to attract plenty of interest. Is a move imminent?)

Wage demands appear the stumbling block for both Ozil and Sanchez as they reportedly demand in excess of £200-a-week.

But it appears if a move does eventually transpire, Arsene Wenger is set to pounce on Reus who would be an ideal replacement for the Chilean attacker.

Following being sidelined for the start of the campaign, Reus finally returned to action and in some style by bagging four goals in just six games.
