Arsenal Fans Want Unai Emery To Re-Sign One Former Player

Arsenal fans may have finally got rid of Arsene Wenger but it won't stop them taking to Twitter to make certain demands of their club and they'd like to see one player rejoin the Premier League side.

Oliver Giroud is being linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer - and supporters of his former club Arsenal seem desperate for the Frenchman to come 'home'.

The striker left the Emirates for Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window after six successful years with the Gunners, and appeared to make a positive impact in the second-half of Chelsea's season.

But following the arrival of new manager Maurizio Sarri, it appears Giroud could be surplus to requirements, with his style of play at odds with the Italian's possession and pace-based tactics.

Giroud, who'll turn 32 later this year, is being linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, but it seems there's plenty of Arsenal fans who'd love to see the target-man return to North London in the next month:

Giroud only moved from Arsenal because of a transfer merry-go-round including Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal wanted Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from the Germans but they would only allow him to move if they got a replacement in Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea and the Blues in turn wanted Giroud as a replacement.

Do you think there's any chance at all that Unai Emery could be tempted into going after Giroud?
