Arsenal And Barcelona On Alert After Player Admits He Wants To Leave In The Summer

Arsenal and Barcelona have been put on alert after Alexandre Lacazette has admitted he wants to leave Lyon in the summer.

The prolific striker was subject to several bids in the summer as both Arsenal and West Ham were hellbent on snapping him up.

Arsenal had a £30 million bid rejected while Lyon also turned down a whopping £42 million offer from 'The Hammers'.

But despite signing a new contract, Lacazette has revealed that he's seeking a move away from the French club.

"I think that the right moment has arrived to leave." He told Canal+.

Continuing to add by saying a change of scenery is needed;

"I think that this summer I will need a change of scenery and discover something else, still with the idea of advancing and progressing in terms of football and as a person."

Amidst the revelation, the 25-year-old will continue to put his best foot forward for the remainder of the campaign;

"I will continue to work, in the hope that good opportunities will come this summer."
