Antonio Conte To Take Chelsea's Summer Spending To £250 Million

Chelsea have already made some of the biggest transfers of the summer but they could bring in another four players.

Antonio Conte's had a bit of a weird summer so far from frustration at getting what he wanted to getting exactly what he wanted. The next step for the Italian might be euphoria as he hopes to get four more big signings.

At the beginning of the summer Romelu Lukaku, yep him again, was named as the Blues primary target in the transfer window and Antonio Conte was frustrated and angry as all hell when the deal stalled and then disappeared as the Belgian went to Old Trafford.

Tiemoué Bakayoko was the other big target for the Blues this summer and as time went on rumours increased that United were also after him or he'd failed a medical that seemed to be going on forever.

In the end Conte managed to sign Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata, who it was then claimed by some was always Chelsea's top target, but that isn't enough for the Premier League champions.

According to the Daily Mail there could be four more arrivals at Stamford Bridge. Roman Abramovich could be opening his wallet up again to sign Alex Sandro, Antonio Candreva, Fernando Llorente and Virgil van Dijk.

Sandro has been a target all summer for Conte and it's believed that Juventus want around £60 million for the left back, considering the money spent by Manchester City on full backs this summer it's no surprise.

Llorente was actually linked with a move to Stamford Bridge back in January as a backup option to Diego Costa. That would obviously now be backup to Morata but he could be a cheap but very effective option.

Inter winger Candreva could be available for around £20 million whilst Van Dijk is obviously a primary target for Liverpool and is believed to prefer a move to the Reds but Chelsea are ready and waiting.

It could move the Blue's spending around and past the £250 million mark, but considering prices at the moment that's basically nothing.
