Antoine Griezmann Reveals Where He'd Like To Finish His Career

He's got a while yet admittedly.

In football you're a long time retired. Most footballers call time on their careers in their mid 30s so they've got a lot of time to fill post football. So it's nice that Antoine Griezmann is thinking about the end of his career.

With Atletico Madrid Griezmann has become one of the best forwards in the world and if he was to become available any time soon, maybe when Diego Simeone leaves Atleti and the entirety of the club wants to follow, then they'll be a mad dash for his signature.

However despite the chance to move to any of the world's biggest clubs should he so wish it's not actually a move to the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus or Chelsea that's on his mind.

Instead Griezmann has revealed that it's his dream to finish his career in the MLS and that a move to David Beckham's proposed club really takes his fancy. In an interview, via SBS, the France forward said:

"The United States is where I want to finish. I love the States. I want to have a subscription to NBA and go with my children to every game. I can already see myself there.

"I do not yet know the city but why not play for Beckham's franchise in Miami? Playing under Beckham would be the best."

Now I'm not sure if having a subscription to NBA and going every week are valid reasons for wanting to finish his career across the pond. After all when he retires he'll be about 35 and be a multi millionaire, surely he could just move to America once he's retired and do all that.

But if that's your dream Antoine then go for it, after all by that time the MLS could be much improved and be a much more viable place for people to go at the peak of their careers.

There's no need to worry just yet Atleti fans because the France star did also say that he's pretty happy with where he is at the moment, "I'm feeling good at Atletico Madrid. Frankly, I don't see myself leaving."

The 25 year old has often been linked with a move to Old Trafford as a replacement for Wayne Rooney because of his friendship with Paul Pogba

If Beckham does eventually get his MLS team started in Miami then maybe his first phone call should be to Griezmann not Iker Casillas.
