Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is going to be one of the busiest men in football in the next five days. The Arsenal player now looks certain to move on before the transfer window ends, but where will he be going?

Things aren't going well for Arsenal on the whole 'getting players to sign contracts' malarkey with Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all yet to sign new deals and in the case of at least two of those players it seems unlikely it'll happen.

Whilst Ozil and Sanchez have remained pretty quiet it seems unlikely that Sanchez will sign a new deal, even if he stays till the end of the season. The 'Ox' on the other hand has reportedly told Arsene Wenger he won't be signing a new deal.

That's despite a reported offer in the region of £180k-a-week. The former Southampton youngster simply wants to leave the Emirates and it's thought an offer of £35 million will be enough to make that happen.

Chelsea have been long thought of as the favourites to sign the 24 year old but according to the Mirror the player actually favours a move to Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp also interested in signing the player.

The report reckons that Arsenal would prefer to sell to Chelsea, who they have a decent relationship with, rather than Liverpool where relationships are still strained since the Luis Suarez ordeal a few years ago.

Chamberlain is set to miss out on Arsenal's game against the Reds tomorrow as Wenger will hope to sell him before the transfer window closes on Thursday.

It's thought that the former Saint wants to move so he can get more first team football in this World Cup season and also wants to develop further in one position rather than be used as a utility player.

Chamberlain is known to favour a spot in the middle of the park but he has excelled as a wing-back in recent times at Arsenal.
