AC Milan continue to recruit new players following the financial backing they have received, and it seems like the club are now targeting an Arsenal player for their next transfer.

From Atalanta's Frank Kessie to Porto's Andre Silva, to name but a few. And it appears they've identified their next target.

As well as Kessie and Silva, Milan have also signed Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio. And the Argentine could be joined by another center half.

That's because reports are claiming that the club are eyeing up Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny per French outlet Telefoot. The 31-year-old continues to be subject to intense transfer speculation.

Milan will have to fend off heavy competition to secure the signature of Koscielny. Marseille and Mancheser City, among others, have also expressed an interest in snapping up the French defender.

Since joining from Ligue 1 in 2010, Koscielny has become an integral part for Arsene Wenger's side as he occupies a spot in the heart of Arsenal's defence.

Following a disappointing season in the Serie A - where they conceded a mighty 45 league goals, the Rossoneri's are hoping to tie a deal with Koscielny as they look to reinforce their leaky defence.

It's set to be a testing transfer window for Arsenal with the ongoing contract saga's with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil continuing to rumble on.

Arsenal are also reportedly prepared to let go of the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Olivier Giroud and Kieran Gibbs.

It's going to be a busy window for Wenger and Co. Will Koscielny still be at the Emirates next season?
