Juventus are set to complete a major piece of their summer transfer business, with a €40 Million offer being submitted for Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi, following the player agreeing to personal terms on a five-year deal at the (newly christened) Allianz stadium.

The 23-year-old Italy international's contract with Juve is reported to be worth €4 million-a-year, with Bernardeschi keen to leave Florence after learning of the Bianconeri's interest.

La Viola are ready to accept the Italian champions' offer for their prize asset, but also want €10 million in add-ons included in the deal.

Bernardeschi made 41 appearances for Fiorentina last term, scoring 13 goals. His rise to prominence over the past year has seen him earn nine international caps with the Italian national team, with the former Crotone youngster's first goal for the Azzurri coming during a 5-0 World Cup qualification victory over Liechtenstein, in Udine, last month.

Goal are also reporting that Bernardeschi will be offered Juve's coveted number 10 shirt, as previously worn by Paul Pogba, Michel Platini and Alessandro Del Piero.

Bernardeschi's current deal at the Stadio Artemi Franchi runs until 2019, with the winger making a total of 82 appearances for La Viola, scoring a total of 23 goals. The winger can perhaps rest easy knowing that the reaction to his sale will not be as anarchic as what greeted then Fiorentina President Flavio Pontello in May 1990 when it was discovered that he had sold Roberto Baggio to Juventus.

Bricks, Molotov cocktails, pieces of iron and chains were hurled during protests in which 50 people were injured and nine were arrested. Pontello was almost barricaded into the club's headquarters for allowing Baggio to depart to Fiorentina's most loathed rivals.

Juve also continue to be strongly linked with Bayern Munich's Brazilian winger Douglas Costa, who has been deemed surplus to requirements in Bavaria by Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti.
