Luis Suarez's move to Atletico Madrid might not be costing much but that doesn't mean he's not one of the most expensive players ever.
The Uruguayan is set to move to Atletico Madrid, to join Diego Simeone's side, for a reported £5.5 million, although much of that will be based on performances and bonuses.

It's a small fee for a player who scored 198 goals for Barcelona in just six years and even bagged 16 in 28 La Liga games last season, so it's not like he's completely out of form.
Whilst it might not be a lot of money, it is still enough to make Suarez one of the top 25 most expensive players ever, according to Transfermarkt, based on cumulative fees for all their transfers.

Neymar's £198 million move to PSG from Barca in 2017 made him the world's most expensive ever signing, and so far the only one to break the 200 million euro mark.
The French side had to activate his release clause to sign the former Santos forward and since then the Catalan side have made sure their release clauses are even higher.
Mbappe moving from the Parc des Princes may be the chance for the record to go, but we'll wait to see.
