Alan Shearer might be the Premier League's all time top goalscorer, but the former Newcastle United striker has been beaten to the top of the league striker rankings by Thierry Henry.

Shearer's 260 goals in the Premier League is a record that still stands, 15 years after his last appearance in the competition.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is the closest active player to the record, with the 32-year-old on 181 goals. With a ratio better than Shearer's, Aguero would have beaten the former England captain if he'd played more of his career in England.

For some time now there has been talk of whether Harry Kane could be the man to topple the record, if he stays at Spurs, but he has now been linked with a summer move to Real Madrid.

Even if Kane does break the record it might not make him the best striker of all time, not according to FourFourTwo at least.

They compiled a list of the 30 best strikers in the Premier League's history, based on goals, trophies and general quality as a player, and that last one might just be why Henry top the list!
