The 50-man Shortlist for the 2019 UEFA Team of the Year has been released. With the Premier League covering half the amount of players, and Liverpool making up 10 of those players.
UEFA have released their annual Team of the Year 50-man Shortlist. With voting open today, the list is packed with 2019 Premier League players, with a near majority of them playing for Liverpool.
Goalkeepers:

Marc Andre Ter-Stegen - Barcelona, Alisson Becker - Liverpool, Ederson - Manchester City, Jan Oblak - Atletico Madrid, Andre Onana - Ajax.
Two Premier League Goalkeepers nominated in Ederson and Alisson Becker. The favourite is surely Alisson after clinching the Champions League in 2019.
Defenders:
Advert
Trent Alexander-Arnold - Liverpool, Cezar Azpilicueta - Chelsea, Daley Blind - Ajax, Mathijs De Ligt - Ajax/Juventus, Jose Gimenez - Atletico Madrid, Jordi Alba - Barcelona, Joshua Kimmich - Bayern Munich, Kalidou Koulibaly - Napoli, Aymeric Laporte - Manchester City, Gerard Pique - Barcelona, Sergio Ramos - Real Madrid, Andrew Robertson - Liverpool, Nicolas Tagliafico - Ajax, Virgil Van Dijk - Liverpool, Jan Vertonghen - Tottenham.
More Premier League dominance this time with the Defenders. The former Ajax back-line of De Ligt, Blind, and Tagliafico make the Shortlist, while Vertonghen is the only Spur to make the Defender list.
Midfielders:

Bernardo Silve - Manchester City, Bruno Fernandes - Sporting CP, David Silva - Manchester City, Kevin De Bruyne - Manchester City, Angel Di Maria - PSG, Fabian Ruiz - Napoli, Fabinho - Liverpool, Frenkie De Jong - Ajax/Barcelona, Jordan Henderson - Liverpool, Jorginho - Chelsea, N'Golo Kante - Chelsea, Thiago Alcantara - Bayern Munich, Donny Van De Beek - Ajax, Georginio Wijnaldum - Liverpool, Hakim Ziyech - Ajax.
The entire Ajax midfield make the list while surprise additions include Bruno Fernandes and Fabian Ruiz. Manchester City's trio of Bernardo, David Silva, and De Bruyne should be favourites in this list.
