The Independent Has Named The 100 Greatest Premier League Players Of All Time

The Premier League has oozed talent, both players and managers, for more than two decades now.

For many football fans, it's the best league out of any of Europe's top five leagues.

It's also safe to say that there have been many, many arguments made about the Premier League on several occasions.

For example, one of SPORTbible's readers' polls had Nemanja Vidić and Rio Ferdinand voted as the best defensive partnership in Premier League history, while another had Manchester United's Paul Scholes voted as the best midfielder in England's top-flight competition.

Well, the Independent has now offered its two cents on the 100 greatest Premier League players.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry ultimately came out on top to claim the top spot, while former United star Cristiano Ronaldo took home second place.
