Fan Ranks English Clubs From 'Best Fans' To 'No Fans'

Football fans love to think that their team has the best fans around and one Newcastle United fan has now ranked English clubs from those with the 'best fans' to those with 'no fans.'

Big clubs are often criticised for have lots of fans who don't sing, when at home anyway, whilst Premier League champions Manchester City even get stick for not having enough fans in attendance.

But that hasn't stopped Newcastle fan @MaximxnSZN putting three Premier League clubs in his top tier, including champions in waiting Liverpool:

Best fans: Newcastle United, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Leeds United

Great fans: Chelsea, Leicester City, Tottenham, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, Manchester United

Good fans: Arsenal, Sunderland, Watford, West Ham United, Swansea City, Charlton Athletic, Hull City, Burnley, Birmingham City, Everton, Nottingham Forest

Okay fans: Barnsley, Derby County, Brighton & Hove Albion, Portsmouth, Morecambe, Blackburn Rovers, Peterborough United, Cardiff City, Doncaster Rovers, Coventry City, Huddersfield Town, Ipswich Town, Bristol Rovers, QPR, Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke City, Tranmere Rovers

Bad fans: Macclesfield Town, Millwall, Wycombe Wanderers, Reading, Norwich City, West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace, Carlisle United, Preston North End, Fleetwood Town, Oxford United, Rotherham United, Northampton Town, Manchester City, Crawley Town

Sh*t fans: Plymouth Argyle, Blackpool, Walsall, Cheltenham Town, Southend United, Shrewsbury, Barnsley, MK Dons, AFC Wimbledon, Grimsby Town, Wigan Athletic, Crewe Alexandra, Leyton Orient, Scunthorpe United, Rochdale, Bristol City, Swindon Town, Exeter, Mansfield Town, Cambridge United, Fulham, Burton Albion, Oldham Athletic, Luton Town

No fans: Bournemouth, Newport County, Stevenage, Bolton Wanderers, Lincoln City, Brentford, Colchester United, Bradford City, Forest Green Rovers, Gillingham

Before getting to any of the controversial selections there are a few glaring errors, being that the list only has 88 teams in it rather than 92, or 91 without Bury, who are in the Football League pyramid.

It's bad enough that a side like League Two Salford are missing but he's even forgotten Premier League side Wolves, who could even finish in the top four this season.

Premier League champions Manchester City find themselves in the 'bad fans' section and despite selling out their away allocation against Real Madrid on Wednesday night they still came under some criticism.

Pep Guardiola's side went 2-1 up through a late Kevin de Bruyne penalty but the cameras went to a group of fans who weren't celebrating wildly, which was mocked by some on social media.

Who do you think are the worst and best fans?
