Belgian wonderkid Youri Tielemans is one of the most promising young prospects in world football and already at 19, looks set to achieve greatness in the game.
The youngest Belgian to play in the Champions League, Tielemans is a technically gifted midfield player with an eye for goals and assists. The Anderlecht man made his first-team bow at the age of 16 and has been a permanent fixture in the side ever since; he's already racked up over 100 appearances for the club - which is an incredible achievement when you think about it.
This season he's been on fire, scoring 16 goals in 36 appearances and contributing further with eight assists - evidence of his playmaking abilities. His latest two strikes, scored in a 4-1 drubbing in an away win against Oostende, highlight his special qualities.
When Tielemans, a Belgian full international, entered the fray as a substitute in the 59th minute, the game was evenly poised at 1-1 but his presence on the pitch changed that completely.

In the 66th minute, the ball dropped to Tielemans around 25 yards out after the ball was half-cleared from the penalty area and having got the ball under control, he rifled in a stunning strike that flew into the far corner, the goalkeeper having absolutely no chance.
Not resting on his laurels after one worldie goal, the man wearing the captain's armband after replacing usual skipper Sofiane Hanni bagged another netbuster mere minutes later when he drove towards goal and walloped home another thunderbastard, this time from further back and with his supposedly weaker left peg.

It surely will not be long before, like many others who once plied their trade in the Belgian top flight, he moves on to bigger and better things. Tielemans has been linked to Tottenham in recent times and based off this evidence alone, he would be a fine addition to a Tottenham midfield already brimming with quality.
